Convention and Conference Speaking
Some times it’s easy to get caught up in the razzle dazzle of speakers at conventions and conferences. Many of them will tell you how to sell real estate and also how to use technology in your business. Unfortunately, many of them have never actually sold real estate, never lived through a down market and while I’m not a professional speaker and I most certainly did not sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night, I do sell real estate and I do use technology in my business every day.
In fact, I’ve been selling real estate in Southern New Hampshire for near 30 years. Over that time I’ve sold many houses and yes, I’ve even won some awards. I’ve lived through challenging markets both good and bad and despite being a Baby Boomer, I grabbed onto technology and became an early adapter to social media. In part because of all that I have been invited to speak at numerous real estate events including the New Hampshire Association, Vermont Association and the Maine Association of REALTORS annual conventions. I also instruct part of the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS GRI program and REALTOR Professional Series as well as the Code of Ethics for both NH and Vermont and frequently speak at WCR luncheons and real estate board events.
